Our Programs
The Friends of Mills Canyon sponsors hikes and informative programs in the canyon the second Saturday of each month (except December). All of our programs are free.
Meet at the Arguello entrance of Mills Canyon in Burlingame (see map), at 10 am.
Bring water and wear hiking shoes. Other useful things to bring are a magnifying glass and field guides.
Note: There are no lavatory facilities at Mills Canyon and it is not handicap accessible.
Programs may be canceled due to inclement weather and can be subject to changes.

Join Friends of Mills Canyon for a Bug Hike with entomologist Shannon Gibbs. We will meet promptly at 10am at the Arguello entrance, then hike around the canyon, down to the creek and up to the meadow to catch and learn about bugs. Bring water, a bug net if you have one, magnifying glass, hat and sunscreen. The Arguello entrance is at 3005 Arguello Dr., off Trousdale in Burlingame. |
